The draw for the Australian Open had been postponed by 75 minutes at short notice.
Reasons for this were not given on Thursday.
At the time of the postponement, a visa decision for number one Serb Novak Djokovic was still pending.
Nothing had changed when he was finally awarded a duel with his compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic.
A decision to withdraw Novak Djokovic's residence permit again could be made on Thursday, according to local media.
In addition, it became known that due to the tense pandemic situation, the audience capacity will be limited to 50 percent of the possible occupancy.
World number one Djoković was refused entry to Australia last week because he was not vaccinated against the coronavirus and the border officials were not given the documents for his medical exemption.
Djoković had already been stopped on arrival at the airport and initially taken to a deportation hotel.
He successfully defended himself against the decision in court on Monday and has since trained in Melbourne.
He has already won the Australian Open nine times.
On Wednesday, the tennis player himself spoke for the first time in a lengthy statement on Instagram and defended himself against two allegations: Neither did he intentionally give false information about his travel behavior in the 14 days before the flight to Melbourne;
Knowing his positive corona test, he still attended an event with children in December and moved there without a mask.
With Djoković's declaration, however, the doubts in the case have only grown (you can find out more here).
