According to Djokovic's lawyer, Australian justice has agreed to stay the Serb's expulsion.
He had asked the court to block his deportation from Australia, after the cancellation of his visa for the second time by the government.
The world number one in tennis has not, at this stage, been placed in detention by the authorities, said his lawyer, Nick Wood, who requested that his client, who entered Australia without being vaccinated against Covid-19, remains free for the duration of the proceedings.
