Due to the relegation of the small Bavarians, the squad of the second team was filled with A and B youths.

This gap is now to be closed with transfers.

Munich

– While those responsible for Bayern decided early on not to strengthen the professional team with winter newcomers, the Munich youth department is blowing the transfer offensive.

The Chinese goalkeeper Liu Shaoziyang (18), who was signed by FC Bayern in December, made the start.

FC Bayern is probably planning a loan to Austria with Liu Shaoziyang.

Shaoziyang is currently training with the U19s because, being Chinese, he is not eligible to play in the regional league team.

That's why those responsible are planning a loan to Austria (we reported).

FC Bayern Campus: South Korean Lee is eligible to play

The situation is different for the South Korean

Hyun-ju Lee

, who, according to our newspaper, signed his contract on campus on Thursday.

Thanks to an agreement with the countries of South Korea, the USA and Canada, he can appear as a non-European in the Bavarian regional league.

Bayern are loaning the junior national player from the Pohang Steelers for a year and have secured a purchase option.

He is scheduled for the amateurs, but due to his age he can also play in the A-Youth.

In his native South Korea, the noble technician Lee is compared to the Brazilian Philippe Coutinho because of his height of only 1.69 meters.

He is considered to be technically excellent and extremely explosive in the first few meters.

Lee was already on campus for trial training at the beginning of December and was able to convince those responsible.

Curious: When it was clear that he would be moving to Munich, he signed up for a driver's license crash course.

He passed the driving test on January 10 – and a day later he went to Germany.

Lee resides on campus and currently only speaks Korean.

FC Bayern: 1.5 million for a 15-year-old?

The Swedish youth international

Matteo Perez Winlöf

(16) has also completed a trial session.

The Swede with Peruvian roots was already present on campus six months ago.

According to the Aftonbladet newspaper, Munich have now decided to sign the left-back a three-year contract and integrate him into coach Danny Galm's U19s.

Jonathan Asp Jensen chose FC Bayern.

As does Danish talent

Jonathan Asp Jensen

(15). The newspaper "BT" reports that the central midfielder is to join the Munich youth department for three years for a fee of 1.5 million euros. Jensen was on the list of some top clubs. But what is behind the campus transfer offensive? Due to the relegation of the amateurs from the 3rd league to the Bavarian regional league, the amateur squad is mainly made up of players who are actually still allowed to play in the U19s. After relegation, FC Bayern had to lend out some regular players from the previous season so as not to hinder their development. This has created a squad vacuum in the A-Youth and B-Youth, which is to be filled with the winter newcomers. It remains to be seen whether the personnel puzzle can be solved in this way.
