The ESC Dorfen is now really turning up.

Dorfen – The ice pirates of ESC Dorfen tricked another Bayernliga top team on Friday evening with a 6:1 (3:1, 0:0, 3:0) against EHC Waldkraiburg.

Waldkraiburg didn't get along at all with Dorfen's forechecking.

Tomas Vrba conquered the target in the 3rd minute and put it on Lukas Kirsch to make it 1-0. Following the same pattern, Josef Folger put the ball on for Philipp Schumann, but he didn't hit the puck properly. It continued in one direction and Urban Sodja's 2-0 after a good ten minutes was well deserved. The ice pirates squeezed their opponents in the third for the next few minutes. When the lions took a closer look at the ESC goal, Christian Göttlicher made it 3-0 in return. When Christof Hradek's pass in front of the goal found its way over the Dorfen goal line, this goal to 1:3 actually came out of the blue (18th).

Back out of the cabins, it was initially called "Waldkraiburg advantage", because Sodja got 2 + 2 penalty minutes.

When Kirsch followed him onto the penalty bench, three minutes had already passed and Waldkraiburg still had no clear chance of scoring.

This remained the case despite a double advantage against the Dorfener "Laufwunder".

The guests only had two surefire chances in the last two minutes – and they were outnumbered.

Philipp Lode stormed towards the ESC goal twice alone.

The first time keeper Andreas Mark fended off brilliantly, the second time the puck slipped from the lions' unnerved attacker.

With the beginning of the final section, the lions seemed to want to do it again with Philipp Lode's post hit and Marek's save against Leon Decker.

In the majority, however, Kirsch took the wind out of their sails with the 4:1.

After Josef Folgers 5:1, Christoph Lode came on for goalkeeper Kevin Yeingst.

After Simon Franz scored, he also had to realize that the puck wasn't his friend that night.
