Russian Aslan Karatsev qualified for the final of the Australian Tennis Championships in Sydney, after defeating Britain's Daniel Evans in the match that brought them together in the semi-finals.
The Russian star managed to settle the confrontation in his favour, with two sets to one, with results 6-3 6-7 6-3 within three hours and 6 minutes.
He will face former world number one Andy Murray in the final of the British Open.
