The English Football League announced that Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling won the Player of the Month award for the month of December last year.
The League said in a statement on its official website today that Sterling won the award for the best player in the English Premier League after scoring five goals and making one goal during the five matches he played in the month of December.
This is the third time Sterling has won the award and his first since 2018.
