The Australian Government's decision to exercise special authority to revoke Novak Djokovic's visa again is stirring the tennis world.
The decision of local immigration minister Alex Hawk may have been in the air, but until the last minute it was not clear whether the government would insist on deporting Djokovic immediately, or whether it would try to find an interim solution through negotiations with Serbian lawyers.
Either way, the question that remains open now is when, how and whether Djokovic will file another appeal to the Supreme Court in Melbourne to try to reverse the decision.
The Serb's lawyers have already made it clear that they do not intend to give up, but legal experts in Australia explain that the chances of the court reversing the decision after one of its appeals has been made are slim at best.

An Australian law professor explained to the New York Times that "Djokovic will have a very, very hard time winning on appeal", after Djokovic himself made it clear that his conduct since being infected with Corona was problematic at best, and involved breaching isolation and giving incorrect details on arrival forms To Australia.
Despite this, as stated, Djokovic's lawyers have submitted documents in preparation for filing an appeal following the decision of the Minister of Immigration, and demand that if an appeal is indeed filed, the hearing will be broadcast live and will take place this coming Sunday.
It is still unclear whether Australia will impose sanctions on Djokovic.
The dry law allows the government to suspend Nola's suspension from Australia for three years, but the government is still debating whether to impose the sentence.
According to reports in Serbia, "If the penalty is activated, it is likely that Djokovic will never return to Australia," not only as a professional tennis player, but also in other personal circumstances.

As expected, Bessarabia reacted angrily to the decision.
Blic threatened that the Australian government's decision would "open the gates of hell" and cause the country irreversible image damage.
Serbia is also convinced that Prime Minister Scott Morrison is making political use of Djokovic ahead of Australia's election year.
One site even called on the Australian Serb population of tens of thousands to "express solidarity with Djokovic and help overthrow Morrison from the government."
