The violence on the pitches has also reached Spain.
During the game last night (Saturday) between Sevilla and Betis in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey, Betis fans threw an object that hit the head of Sevilla player Joan Jordan.
The player fell on the lawn and needed medical attention.
It happened in the 40th minute of the game and in a 1: 1 situation.
Eventually and after long minutes of waiting, it was decided not to resume the game and Spain would decide how to end the saga.

The options of course are to postpone the game to another date, resume it from the point where it was stopped and of course heavy penalties to Betis for the behavior of its fans.
Regardless of the events, the goals in the game that took place until then were scored by Alejandro Gomes for Sevilla (35) and Nabil Fakir equalized (39).
