Belem Hapoel B'Shlosha, Hatem al-Hamid, issued a public apology this morning (Sunday) following the abandonment of the team's coaching on his own initiative.
"During training yesterday, I behaved in a way that did not suit me and did not suit a professional player," the Israeli team said. "Anyone who is with me at the club and close to me, especially these days, knows how important the game against Maccabi Haifa is, What are the energies and power to transfer to the rest of my friends in the locker room as well.
"I apologize from the bottom of my heart for my behavior, to the whole team and of course to the fans. What we need to deal with now is to all come together to Turner, with all our good energies, and do what we know best."
Behind the scenes, after the training, the owner Alona Barkat and the professional manager Aliniv Barda came into the picture.
Alhamid's friends in the locker room also recommended that he put an end to the story in favor of the group.
After quite a few conversations, the actor realized his mistake and chose to accept responsibility and apologize, when it was clarified that if he did so - the story would end.
In light of this, Alhamid is expected to play tomorrow as a left-back and replace in that position the Leder Lopes who fell ill in Corona.
