Cincinnati ended an eight-game losing streak in the playoffs, its previous success dating back to January 1991 against the Houston Oilers.

The Ohio franchise will face either Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs or the Buffalo Bills in the next round in a week.

In the other game of the day, Buffalo outclassed the New England Patriots 47-17 with a solid performance from quarterback Josh Allen who offered five touchdowns.

The Bills scored on their first seven possessions, a first in an NFL playoff game in the Super Bowl era.
