The director of the football leagues announced today (Sunday) the dates of the 20-23 rounds, when the center determined that the Tel Aviv derby will be held on Saturday, February 12, as the main game of the 22nd round.
The news is very pleasing to the fans of the teams in light of the fact that in recent years the game has taken place mainly on Sundays or Mondays, so that the thousands of fans who come to Bloomfield Stadium will have special energies.
It was also determined that nine days after the battle for Tel Aviv, Maccabi Haifa will host Hapoel Tel Aviv in the main game of the 23rd round.
The dates of the quarterfinals of the cup were also announced today.
On February 1 (Tuesday), Bnei Yehuda and Hapoel Haifa will meet and Maccabi Petah Tikva will host Hapoel B'Shlosha.
A day later, on February 2, Maccabi Tel Aviv will host Maccabi Jaffa and Hapoel Hadera will host Maccabi Haifa. This is of course the first of two games, with the rematch taking place around March 1 (the association will announce final dates later).
