Around 350 spectators experienced a lively game on Sunday evening in the Erding ice rink.

After 60 varied minutes, the Gladiators defeated EC Pfaffenhofen with 6:4 (2:0, 1:4, 3:0) goals.

Erding - There's nothing the Gladiators can't do this season: This time it was an injury during the warm-up. Finnish defender Roni Rukajärvi was hit and coach Thomas Vogl was forced to make a last-minute change. The Pfaffenhofen team had their first big chance after just 30 seconds, but Daniel Hanlon was denied by goalkeeper Thomas Mende. But then it was the Erdinger's turn and Wassilij Guft-Sokolov completed a nice individual action to make it 1-0 (4th). The post prevented the 2:0 after a shot by Erik Modlmayr (8th). But three minutes later the puck was in the Eishogs' goal - again Guft-Sokolov was successful. However, the guests continued to play happily and had their chances, but failed again and again at Mende. Almost 3-0 in the 18th minute, but Eishogs keeper Thomas Hingel remained the winner against Philipp Michl.

In the second third, the game continued to go back and forth – both teams looked for salvation on the offensive. A brutal defensive blunder then brought the guests back into play – Robert Gebhardt made it 1:2 with a follow-up shot (26th). Youngster Leonard Schreiber had the 3:1 on his bat, but Hingel made a great save (30'). The Eishogs promptly equalized 2:2 in the 33rd minute through Friedrich Kolesnikov. But the Gladiators only had to wait 66 seconds for an answer: Outnumbered, David Hrazdira scored to make it 3:2. However, Pfaffenhofen was unimpressed: 93 seconds before the end of the second period, Elias Maier made it 3:3, and 41 seconds later Robert Neubauer gave the Eishogs the lead for the first time.

Pfaffenhofen noticed that the Erdinger defense was anything but stable, stayed in the final third and put pressure on.

But when the first attack brought the 4:4 through Hrazdira, the game turned again.

Now the Gladiators were the game-determining team.

The Eishogs collected a few penalties and Hrazdira skillfully deflected a Krämmer shot to make it 5: 4 for Erding – it was the Czech's eighth goal in his fourth game for Erding.

Mark Waldhausen finally sealed the 6-4 win with 41 seconds left when the Eishogs took their goalkeeper off the ice for a sixth fielder.
