The Tunisian national team defeated its Mauritanian counterpart 4-0 in the match that brought them together today in the second round of Group F of the African Nations Cup.
Hamza Mathlouthi opened the Tunisian team's quartet in the fourth minute, with Wahbi Khazri scoring two goals in the 9th and 64th minutes, while Seif Eddine Jaziri scored the fourth goal in the 66th minute.
With this victory, the Tunisian team collected the first three points in the tournament after losing the first round against Mali to revive its hope of qualifying for the final price, while the Mauritanian team officially bid farewell to the tournament after its second loss.
Cameroon will host the 33rd edition of the African Football Cup of Nations from the 9th of this month to the 6th of February, with the participation of 24 teams.
