Washington hoped tonight (Saturday through Sunday) to continue its positive momentum, but was defeated 115-110 by Portland and surrendered for the first time after three straight wins (twice over Orlando, and once over the Thunder).

The Wizards dropped to a 21:22 balance, in the third game in a row in which they had to make do without their leading scorer Bradley Bill, and tonight also without coach Wes Ansald Jr., who was absent due to the Corona Protocol.

Danny Abdia again provided mediocre play offensively, settling for 6 points, 4 rebounds and one steal in his 20 minutes on the field.

The Israeli continued to have difficulty shooting and showed a disappointing percentage, especially beyond the arc: Abdia finished with 2 of 6 from the field, including 1 of 4 from three (1 of 2 from the penalties), and again seemed disappointed with himself after the misses (some free).

He again put a lot of effort into the defense, and finished with a positive plus / minus balance - 1+.

In the last four games, Abdia has scored a total of 20 points.

So far in January its cumulative maturity balance stands at only 5 out of 25 - 20 percent.

Unfortunately, the rest of his teammates did not excel beyond the arc either.

Kyle Kozma Yam with 16 points and 12 rebounds, but 0 of 4 of the three.

Cantebius Caldwell Pop scored just 8 points, with 0 of 4 of the three.

The one who excelled was Spencer Dinwidi with 27 points and 7 assists, but that was not enough.

Portland led safely and climbed to a 16-point lead 6:55 to end the fourth quarter, Washington managed to shrink to 112: 108 with 27 seconds left to finish with a three-pointer from a Dinwidi, but it was too late.

Anfrani Simmons stood out in Portland with 31 points and equaled a career-high 11 assists.

Simmons joined his teammates after missing the previous game yesterday because of his grandfather's funeral, scoring 26 points already in the first half, including 7 threes.

Joseph Norkic added 23 points and 14 rebounds for the Blazers (25:17).
