Maccabi Haifa defender Raz Meir was sent off during a half-time break in the game against Hapoel BS tonight (Monday). Referee Roi Reinschreiber decided to leave the Greens with ten players after Meir pushed BS assistant coach Arik Bendo.
Meir claimed that Bendo was the one who cursed and hit the winds, but the judge was adamant.
Meir also claimed that there was no push but only an exchange of curses.
The event continued to roll on.
Haifa coach Barak Bachar turned to Rainschreiber and said: "You ruined the moment of a season game."
To Bendo said Bachar: "Congratulations to you, beauty of conduct."
Later, BS coach Roni Levy turned to Bachar and asked what had happened. Bachar made it clear to him that for him it was a "dirty game and lack of sportsmanship."
