Cameroon tied with Cape Verde in the African Nations Championship

Cameroon tied the Cape Verde national team with a goal each in the match that brought them together at the end of the group stage of the African Nations Championship.

Cameroon opened the scoring through Vincent Abubakar in the 39th minute, while Cape Verde equalized through Garry Rodriguez in the 53rd minute of the match.

With this result, Cameroon raised its score to 7 points, leading the first group, and Cape Verde increased its score to four points in third place, while Burkina Faso finished runner-up with a tie with the same result with Ethiopia.
