The Australian Tennis Association wants to review its actions after the court farce surrounding the unvaccinated Novak Djokovic.
There are always lessons to be learned, Tennis Australia said on Tuesday.
We want to include all aspects.
At the same time, the association apologized for the whirlwind that had arisen before the start of the first Grand Slam tournament of the year.
"We understand that recent events have been a major distraction for everyone," Tennis Australia said, without mentioning Djokovic's name in the statement.
The Serbian world number one had traveled to Australia unvaccinated because he wanted to take part in the Australian Open with a medical exemption.
However, when he entered the country, his visa was canceled because the 34-year-old Serb could not provide sufficient documentation for the special permit.
After days of legal disputes, the federal court in Melbourne declared the visa withdrawal legal on Sunday, one day before the start of the Australian Open.
Djokovic then had to leave Australia.
Tennis Australia has worked closely with the Australian and Victoria state governments, the statement said.
