Uri David has been appointed coach of the club's youth team and will replace Burja Lama Benito.
In the afternoon, Uri handed over the first training to his trainees ahead of the league game against the Ness Ziona section, which will take place this coming weekend.
Uri has worked for Maccabi Tel Aviv for the past 14 years.
During this time, he coached in the various department teams.
Last season he coached the youth team.
David said after the signing: "I am happy to join the Hapoel Beer Sheva club and thank the professional team for trusting me. We have important goals ahead of us and together with the players we will do everything to meet them."
The professional director of the youth department, Maor Melikson: "I congratulate Uri on joining us and wish him great success in his new role. Uri brings with him many years of experience working in the youth department and with all age groups."
