Stupor and incomprehension.
Jordan Michallet, the player from Rouen was found dead this Tuesday in the middle of the day, at 29 years old.
The Pro D 2 club, of which he was an executive, is in shock.
Since his arrival in 2018, the opening half has indeed been the metronome of the Norman team, scoring more than 500 points since the title of champion of France of Federal 1 in 2019.
Quickly recognized, Jordan Michallet was found at the foot of a building under construction.
According to information from Paris-Normandie, the police were notified at 1:07 p.m. by a witness who saw the fall of the rugby player from the fourth floor.
When they arrived on the scene, a student was in the process of providing cardiac massage to the victim.
A policeman took over in vain.

Earlier in the day, Jordan Michallet had been involved in a road accident. Shortly before 1 p.m., his car had hit the central reservation, causing slowdowns on the Mathilde bridge and therefore on both sides of the city. For now, the suicide hypothesis is preferred. "The Rouen Normandy Rugby family is deeply saddened to announce the death of our dear Jordan Michallet," the club said in a statement. This terrible news plunges us into immense sorrow. The management and the entire club join his family in this terrible ordeal. »
Isérois by birth, trained in Voiron, passed by the training center of FC Grenoble whose colors he wore until 2014, then by Bourgoin-Jallieu (2015-2017), Jordan Michallet had joined since 2019 the north of France and Rouen, first in Fédérale 1, which he helped to access Pro D2 for the first time.
Since then, he had established himself as the holder of the position of opener.
This season, he had thus played sixteen matches.
Also a former French youth international (France U18), he had found in Rouen the playing time he had lacked until then.
He had just extended three seasons with the club.
