Israeli police announced this morning (Wednesday) that they seized the Olympic necklace stolen last week from Linoyam Ashram, a gold medalist from Tokyo in artistic gymnastics.
Linoy Ashram is not alone: a plague of thefts at the Wingate Institute
As you may recall, last week,
after an event held in her honor at the Wingate Institute, the
police were notified of the theft of a necklace belonging to Olympic athlete Linoy Ashram.
Yesterday, detectives from the police station in Jisr a-Zarqa conducted a search in the village, and arrested a 24-year-old resident who is in possession of the suspected drug substance.

After his arrest, a relative of the suspect arrived and threatened to hit the police station.
Police forces began a search, and soon after arrested the suspect with threats, and in a search of his body, a knife and ... Linoy Ashram's necklace were seized.
The suspect was arrested on the spot and brought to the Hadera court for a hearing to extend his detention.
