A busy day in the disciplinary tribunal of the Football Association.
Hapoel Tel Aviv was prosecuted tonight (Wednesday) for throwing objects in the last game against Nof Hagalil, with the Reds facing a suspended sentence of closing goals 4-5 for three games. Currently, the referees have not yet reached a decision.
Betar Jerusalem was prosecuted for rioting fans in three different cases - in a game against Maccabi Haifa, against MS Ashdod and Kiryat Shmona. Galilee landscape without crowds.
Almog Cohen, a Maccabi Netanya player, was prosecuted for insulting referee Uriel Greenfeld.
"I was just put on trial, I felt attacked," Cohen said during the hearing, "I respect the judges and for me to be here is a shame."
The tribunal took into account Cohen's clean past and punished him with a dismissal from one actual game.
Either way, Netanya was fined NIS 15,000 for a staff member breaking into a referee and throwing a drinking glass at fans.
