A busy day in the disciplinary tribunal of the Football Association.

Almog Cohen, a Maccabi Netanya player, was prosecuted for insulting referee Uriel Greenfeld.

"I was just put on trial, I felt attacked," Cohen said during the hearing, "I respect the judges and for me to be here is a shame."

The tribunal took into account Cohen's clean past and punished him with a dismissal from one actual game.

Either way, Netanya was fined NIS 15,000 for a staff member breaking into a referee and throwing a drinking glass at fans.
