Only two games were played tonight (Tuesday-Wednesday) in the NBA, but that does not mean that the best league in the world did not provide a celebration.
The Golden State Warriors are back to winning, and beyond that - you could say Clay Thompson is back and big.
The Warriors came into the game against Detroit after three losses in their last four games, and to their delight did so with Stephen Kerry.
Already at the break their advantage was 28 points, which actually ended the game.
In the second half Detroit woke up and narrowed the gap, but nothing stopped the light-hearted 86: 102.

With all due respect to Kerry, the one who stood out above them all is Clay Thompson, who mentioned forgetfulness with a wonderful show.
In 22 minutes on the floor he provided 21 points (6 of 13 from the field, 3 of 8 from outside the arc), 4 assists, 2 steals and 3 rebounds.
Kerry added 18 points and eight assists.
Andrew Wiggins also excelled (19) in the Warriors ranks.
Golden State is now expecting seven consecutive home games, and they hope that is what will get them back on track.
In another game tonight, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the New York Knicks 110: 112.
