Coach Millwood sees "a lot of positives"

The basketball players of TSV Weilheim are under pressure in the 2nd regional league.
Coach Darryl Millwood sees a lot of positive things in the first game after a break of around two months.
The newcomer also impressed.
Weilheim – The TSV Weilheim basketball team has managed to return to play after a two-month break.
At Fibalon Baskets Neumarkt they celebrated their second win of the season in the 2nd regional league south with 95:72 (47:21).

Newcomer Miljan Grujic was one of the positive aspects of the guest appearance at the table neighbors.
The 2.06 meter giant made life difficult for the hosts under the basket.
“His presence helps us enormously.
The whole team benefits from his experience and his understanding of basketball,” Millwood praised the 130-kilo Serbian man, who collected twelve points and numerous rebounds on his debut in the TSV jersey.
"But our boys still have to get used to playing with such a big center," says Millwood.
He recognized that his squad still had adjustment problems after they had had to play differently since the departure of veteran Flo Willkomm, a player similar to Grujic.
Weilheim still has room for improvement in attack
Millwood saw potential for improvement, especially in attack: "It was a bit chaotic in attack at times." On the other hand, Weilheimer were very solid on defense for long stretches, especially in the first half.
"But there is still a lot to polish up there," Millwood complained about one or the other negligence.
Up to 11:11 (7th) it looked like a tight game.
After that, the Weilheimers took over more and more command.
In the second quarter they tightened the reins, with Raphael Sedlmayr leading the way.
He got ten points in this section.
Andreas Brem also scored diligently, so that the TSV men had 26 points before the break.
"We took them by surprise," says Millwood.
After the break, the home side braced themselves against the impending defeat.
However, Weilheimer kept a cool head and defended their comfortable lead.
In the final quarter Sedlmayr came up trumps again, in the end he scored an impressive 26 points.
"Raphael had a good day," Millwood said.
"The victory certainly gives self-confidence for the next tasks," Millwood summed up afterwards with noticeable satisfaction.
