Hapoel Beer Sheva went out for 48 hours of rest and recovery from the game last night against Maccabi Haifa and will return to practice tomorrow (Thursday) ahead of the game on Sunday against Maccabi Petah Tikva.
The club licked the wounds of the loss to Maccabi Haifa in Turner yesterday in a game that was defined as the game of the season, but at least for its first third most of the Hapoel Beer Sheva players did not appear.

Owner Alona Barkat entered the professional team room immediately after the game on Tuesday, shook hands and said words of encouragement for the sequel. The owner, despite disappointing many of the recent losses in the league to Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv, does not intend to give up and change goals for the rest of the season. For Barkat, the goal of the championship still exists and the expectation is that the professional team led by Roni Levy will know how to get the players to a much better period that will include a journey of victories in order to keep the gap from Maccabi Haifa. "What is to be raised now?" Club officials asked yesterday. "These are the same players who have led the table at most stages of the season so far. They need to get us back on track."
The club continued to praise Itai Schechter's performance yesterday.
The striker, who will be 35 next month, was one of the few in the team who appeared last night at Turner and the club talked about him yesterday as well.
"If everyone had come to the game like me, we would not have found ourselves so early with a two-goal deficit," Hapoel Beer Sheva said last night.
