After a bad start, the SV Schnalz Böbing air pistol team is gaining momentum in the Bavarian league.

On the last day of the competition, a substitute shooter and a veteran were particularly accurate.

The season in the Bayernliga Süd-West could not have started much worse for the SV Schnalz Böbing air pistol team. After four rounds of competition, the team was the only one in the league without points. In the meantime, however, the Böbinger have worked their way forward. On the youngest day of competition, there were even two victories. With 8:12 points, the Schnalz-Schützen are now in fifth place out of eight teams. Four duels are still pending, they will be played on February 13th and March 6th. Both times Böbing is the organizer.

In the competition at the SG Neubiberg facility in Putzbrunn, the Böbingers first won 4:1 against table neighbors SG Egling.

Andreas Schauer (374) in third place and Yannik Lindinger (370) in second place each showed "a top performance", as SV shooter Christian Lindinger reported.

They won by twelve and 21 points respectively.

Christian Lindinger himself had to drop out in first place after he and his opponent, Adrian Offer, had each scored 366 points.

In the "overtime" Christian Lindinger kept his nerve and won 9:8.

Substitute shooter Lucia Erhard contributed the fourth point. With 362 points (compared to 353 by Eglings Sonja Blass) in fifth place, she showed that she can be relied on.

Only Gerald Strunz (344:353) had to admit defeat.

In the competition against the runners-up, Der Bund Munich, Strunz advanced to the match winner. At the score of 2:2, the weal and woe of Böbinger was in his hands. And the fourth-placed shooting veteran didn't disappoint the team. After being behind after two series, he caught up with Susanne Köbl and won with 355:351 rings. A 3:2 success after what Christian Lindinger calls “an incredibly exciting competition.

It quickly became clear that Erhard (359:326) would win their duel in fifth place.

With another strong performance, Yannik Lindinger (371) left his competitor, Michaela Bösl, behind;

the Schnalz-Schütze won with five points difference.

The match between Christian Lindinger (370) and Markus Lehner (372) was close: The first series, in which the man from Böbinger lost three points (90:93), was decisive for the outcome of the duel at a high level.

Schauer's appearance (369) against Carlotta Richter (371) was just as exciting.

After two series, both combatants were level, in the following two rounds Richter scored one more point.
