The global organization will try to fight the large number of loaned players from the clubs starting this summer • And also: the Israeli team that could be harmed

The end for the daughter groups?

FIFA released today (Thursday) a new law that will come into force this summer, through which the organization will try to combat the phenomenon of the proliferation of club loan players.

By law, starting in July 2022, clubs will only be able to loan eight players to other clubs.

Over the course of a year the number has dropped to seven and in 2024 the maximum number of borrowers will be only six.

However, the law will only apply to players over the age of 21 and not below it.

So the phenomenon can continue in a certain way but as mentioned, it will be limited.

FIFA announces new loan regulations with the aim of "developing young players, promoting competitive balance and preventing hoarding."

From 2024, clubs will be restricted to six players loaned in and six loaned out at one time.

Under 21s and club-trained players will be exempt.

The multiple question of players is a common phenomenon among some of the biggest clubs in the world and even here in Israel.

The one who probably will not like the new law is Maccabi Tel Aviv, which is known to be in a mother-daughter relationship with Betar Tel Aviv / Bat Yam from the national league.
