Even when it seems that the Novak Djokovic saga and the Australian Championship are behind us, more and more unpleasant details are revealed around the most talked about affair in the sports world in the last month.
Today (Thursday), the world number five Andrei Rublev revealed the Australian authorities' treatment of him before the Grand Slam opened:
The tennis player continued: "Actually, I went into ten days of isolation but have not been tested since, and am still not being tested. Maybe I'm still positive.
There are some tweets popping up regarding Andrey Rublev saying (via Sportsklub) he was still positive for covid-19 when he flew to Australia.
If true, just know this can happen and is detailed in the Australian Department of Health "inbound international travel" regulations: pic.twitter.com/dSslvHFDfM

The question now arises as to whether the authorities have toughened their stance in relation to the world number one, as only last night was published the pressure exerted on the manager of the Australian Open, Craig Thaley, to resign following his affair.
