After losing to Philadelphia, the Israeli got 23 minutes in the dramatic 119: 118 loss to the Nets, who played without Kevin Durant.

After the bench in the game against Philadelphia where he played just three minutes, Danny Abdia returned tonight (Wednesday to Thursday) to be a key part of Washington’s rotation.

The Wizards did lose 119: 118 to Brooklyn at the end of a great drama, but the Israeli forward played 23 minutes in which he contributed 13 points (4 from 7 from the field, 2 from 3 from three, 3 from 3 from penalties), 5 rebounds, 3 assists, steals and a block.

It was Abdia's first game in about two and a half weeks in which he scored a double-digit amount of points.

Abdia rose from the bench 4:00 minutes to the end of the first quarter and remained on the floor for 14 consecutive minutes and scored 7 points in the first half, but his team failed to stop the opponent, which led to a 62:74 halftime break.

Brooklyn's gap widened to 16 points but in the final quarter Washington began its comeback with Abdia taking a significant part in it - including a three-pointer, and three accurate shots from the line after an offense with another three-pointer.

But in the deciding minutes coach Joseph Blair brought him down to the bench.

A three by Kyle Kozma reduced the lead to just 36 points to go.

On the other side Kyrie Irving missed a three, Montreux Harle blocked James Harden and Washington had a chance to take the lead and win.

But Kozma missed a free-kick, Harle took control of the offensive rebound and Spencer Dinwidi could have beaten the ex with the buzzer but missed the opportunity.
