Now, it's official - Maor Bouzaglo is retiring from football.
The 34-year-old midfielder, who has not played since being injured in the summer of 2020 and cut by Hapoel Tel Aviv, has decided to hang up his shoes and officially say goodbye at a press conference, which will take place on Wednesday next week.
Buzaglo, who will hold a press conference on Wednesday at 14:30 at the Moshava Stadium in Petah Tikva, began his career in the youth team of Maccabi Tel Aviv and at the age of 14 was signed by the French Lyon, where he collaborated, among others, with Karim Benzema.

Buzaglo, who also played for the Israeli national team, recorded three championships to his credit (with Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Beer Sheva) and finished as the top scorer in the Premier League in three different seasons.
Bio permit, he also managed to play in the Belgian Standard Liege and is the record holder and the top scorer of the youth team of all time.
