Adrian Mannarino is engaged in a long showdown in Melbourne against Russian Aslan Karatsev.
In the third set, when the two men were tied for a set everywhere (7-6, 6-7, 2-4) French signed one of the points of the day and this start of the tournament.
On a backhand volley from his opponent, Mannarino returned the ball with a reflex kick between the legs which his opponent answered... with another tweener.
The Francilien finally finished the point on the fly.
Usually not very demonstrative on the court, the tricolor left-hander enjoyed this spectacular exchange with a big smile and a raised fist to the ovation of the public.
