2022-01-21T21:19:56.211Z

The corona-weakened German handball players kept the game against co-favorite Norway open for a long time, but in the end it became clear. The chance of reaching the semi-finals is minimal.

After the second tournament defeat within 24 hours, Germany's handball players only have minimal chances of making it into the semi-finals of the European Championship.

The DHB selection, weakened by eleven Corona failures, lost to Norway 23:28 (12:14) on Friday evening and no longer has progress in the main round group II with 2:4 points in their own hands.

In front of 2026 spectators in Bratislava, captain Johannes Golla was the best scorer in the team of national coach Alfred Gislason with four goals.

On Sunday Germany meets World Cup runners-up Sweden.
