The season finale will be exciting for SG Raisting: Despite further defeats on the most recent day of competition, staying up in the 2nd division is still possible.

But for that everything has to fit.

Raisting - When the match against the eagle shooters Unteriglbach was lost 2:3 after the comparison with the second team of SV Waldkirch, it was clear to Thomas Flakus that the topic of "staying up" was almost over.

"We don't need to talk nicely about that," the SG Raisting air pistol shooter stated soberly.

"That's it."

There is still a glimmer of hope, but then something like a miracle would have to happen next weekend in the catch-up competition in SV Peiting's Schützenheim against HSG Munich II and SV Hubertus Rettenbach for the bottom of the table in the 2nd Bundesliga South.

Raisting absolutely needs a win from the two clashes in order to prevent direct relegation and relegation in one fell swoop.

SG Raisting desperately needs a win in the season finale

The constellation in the table wants it so that both the FSG Prien and the Singoldschützen Großaitingen with 6:16 points each have only two points more than the Raistinger (4:14). With just one win, the Schützengilde could overtake the two opponents who have already ended the season, because the record in the category "single points" (comparable to the goal difference in football) speaks clearly for them. The Ammersee team has a ratio of 21:24, while both Prien and Großaitingen have a ratio of 21:34 after the end of the season. If they win, the Raistingers would draw level on points (6:16) and leave the current tenth and eleventh in the table behind on individual points.

However, HSG and SV Hubertus are still pursuing their own ambitions.

Munich can still become champions if they win their final bouts against Raisting and Peiting both with a single point ratio of at least 9:1.

For the Rettenbachers, on the other hand, relegation to the 1st league is at stake.

You need an achievement to qualify for the promotion round.

"The score is only settled when the last shot has been fired," Flakus hopes that his team will avoid the exodus in the end.

SG Raisting can still make it into the league

The performances of the past weekend encourage that the coup will succeed. "We would have only needed two more rings, then the matter would have been over," Thomas Flakus made it clear that there was not much missing to stay up early. Ulrich Kranz (364) lost against Johannes Schauer (365) and Dirk Munker (360) against Sophie Mayer (361) against the eagle shooters Unteriglbach. The only clear defeat was Silke Westermann (358) against Michael Steinbauer (369). Thomas Flakus (372) won clear victories against Pavel Skopovy (365) and Philipp Mößmer (366) against Stefan Degenhardt (354).

In the encounter with the second set of SV Waldkirch, the current seeding list put a spanner in the works for the bottom of the table.

Thomas Flakus (367) lost against Sebastian Schulz (376), Kranz (363) against Larissa Böck (367) and Westermann (363) against Simon Rogg (370) in the first three positions.

Mößmer (363) scored points against Daniel Schlaier (356) and Munker (369) against Andreas Schlahsa (350).

"We're losing at the wrong place," Flakus was annoyed.

With Munker in second place, the Schützengilde would have won the competition.

On Sunday, the seeding list of the relegation candidate will change again.

As usual, Flakus and Kranz shoot in first and second place, but Moessmer pushes Westermann from third to fourth place.

Dirk Munker remains number five.

"We'll see that we can bring something together," says Flakus defiantly.

A win would be enough, be it against HSG Munich (12.30 p.m.) or against Huberti-Schützen (2.45 p.m.).
