The taekwondo season, and in fact the campaign for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, will start today (Friday) at the Ralph Klein Hall in Ramla.
This will happen with the Israeli Championship, which will open at 09:00 and will mark the 50th anniversary of the murder of 11 Munich victims.
The one who will naturally attract the most attention is Olympic medalist Avishag Samberg, who competes in the weight category up to 49 kg.
Nimrod Kravitsky, European runner-up and Samberg's partner, and bronze medalist from the European Under-21 Championships Dana Azran will also be there.
Those who are marked with the next ball in the industry will also compete in Ramla: Noa Price, Igor Rogozin and Tom Peshkovsky.
During the competition, honor will be paid to the new world champion, Paralympic fighter Assaf Yasur, who will perform in a showcase battle.
