Disappointing news for the Chicago Bulls: Guard team Alex Caruso will have to undergo surgery on his palm after his injury tonight (Friday-Saturday) from the game against Milwaukee.

Caruso suffered a foul from Milwaukee player Grayson Allen, fell badly on the arm, and will be out for 6 to 8 weeks.

Alan was sent off following the offense.

It was 5:45 minutes to the end of the third quarter when Caruso came up to the basket, and Allen bluntly lowered it and made it fall on the parquet.

"The guy just dropped me in the air," Caruso said after the game, "it's bullshit, what can I say, I'm glad I did not have a serious injury."

Caruso, by the way, continued to play with a broken hand in the second half, and only after the game did the X-rays make it clear that the injury was not simple at all.

Caruso even said that Allen did not approach him after the incident or at the end of the game to check on his safety. The one who reacted abnormally was Chicago Bulls coach Billy Donovan, a man who usually speaks with restraint, but this time attacked Allen, who was also involved in a number of aggressive incidents in his career at Duke University colleges. "When Alex was up in the air like that, and Allen was taking him down like that, it could have ended his career," Donovan said. "He already has a history of things like that. For me it was really, really dangerous. To really hurt him. " According to Donovan, "apparently the judges also felt it was intentional, in the way he slammed it to the ground and his head bounced off the parquet."

Caruso's injury joins the injury of Lonzo Ball, another notable player in the Chicago uniform, who will undergo knee surgery and will also be out for 8-6 weeks.

Mike Wilbon of ESPN sharply criticized: "Only the smug smile on Grayson Allen's face immediately after the offense should be considered evidence of his indefinite suspension ... the NBA should do what college basketball has never done regarding his bullying behavior."
