The blessing has become a curse: Washington "too deep," Abdia promised his place?
After another confused game and another loss, Bradley Bill calls for a shortening of the Wizards' rotation, but in the meantime the Israeli "took full advantage of the opportunity in the top five" and once again seems to be on the rise.

Danny Abdia with Washington Wizards fans (from the Wizards' Twitter)
Washington continues to falter, even in the sequence of home games that was supposed to get it back on track.
The Wizards suffered a third loss tonight (Friday-Saturday) in the last four games including two in a row, this time with 109: 105 to Toronto.
The Wizards may have received back a string of injured and sick players, but even Bradley Bill understands that the long rotation - tonight 10 players played 10 minutes or more - is "both a blessing but also a curse".
Bill knows that "we have a lot of players on the same positions, and now they're all trying to prove themselves and show that they deserve to be part of the rotation and part of the team. "Maximum 8 players."
According to Bill, "at some point we will have to shorten the rotation and make changes, because it is not certain that it is possible to continue like this for a long time."

Abdia has already been hit once by the load in the Wizards' forward position when he stepped out of the rotation three games ago against Philadelphia.
But since then the Israeli has found his place again, and tonight he got the place of the injured Kyle Kozma in the quintet.
He finished 31 not-so-bad minutes with 9 points (4 of 8 from the field including 1 of 5 from three), 6 assists, 5 rebounds, two turnovers and a good defense for Pascal Siakam, who finished with 21 points but scored most over other guards.
"Danny had a good game. He did what we asked him to do," Washington assistant coach Joseph Blair said at the conclusion.
"He delivered 6 assists with some nice dedication, took shots when he was available. I think they start to know him as a very good guard, a stopwatch in front of players in different positions with his 'size'. I was pleased with what he did tonight. His energy, willingness to do what needs to be done "It's a positive sign."
A clear message: Tough decisions need to be made.

Washington reporters also complimented Abdia on his positive performance, but along with compliments on the defense and activism in managing the game and finding available players, he also downplayed three offenses of completely free shots off the arc.
"I really enjoy watching Danny take advantage of this opportunity in the top five. He plays wonderful defense and finds the holes in defense," tweeted commentator Mike Prada.
Blogger Matt Moderno also noted that "Abdia gave good minutes, and showed his defensive diversity. He did not hesitate on offense either, although it was a bit strange to see how Toronto keeps him tight away from the ring."
