This morning (Sunday), Maccabi Haifa investigated the team's brakeman Bogdan Planic, following his outburst against the referee of the game, Niv Steif, at the end of the game against Hapoel Jerusalem (1-1).
According to the Serb's version, he approached Steiff at the end and asked why he did not stop the game when he was lying on the grass if a significant head injury.
According to Planic, the judge told him in a dismissal, "Go to the room," which infuriated him and caused him to erupt.
According to the Serbian brakeman, he felt contempt when he spoke to the referee about something that was very substantial to him.
Haifa hopes that the case will not lead to a prosecution in aggravated circumstances, since against Planich stands a sentence of three suspended games, a reminder of the derby events last season.
Unfortunately for the player, the condition will expire in about two weeks.
