Swimmer Anastasia Gurbanko enlisted today (Sunday) for compulsory service in the IDF. The world champion showed up at the Navy Museum in Haifa and went through the conscription chain as required.
As you may recall, Gorbanko was due to enlist as early as the end of last month, however due to the fact that she was positive for Corona her recruitment was postponed.
She went through the isolation days as required and has since returned to training at the Wingate Institute Center of Excellence at the Wingate Institute.
Now, at the earliest date possible by the IDF, it has completed the recruitment process.
