Cameroon qualified for the quarter-finals of the African Nations Cup after defeating the Comoros team with two goals against one goal in the match that brought them together today at the Olympic Stadium in Cameroon in the final price round.
The first minutes of the first half witnessed the expulsion of Comoros captain Najim Abdo in the 7th minute after returning to the “mouse” video technology.
Cameroon's goals were scored by Toko Ekambi and Vicente Aboubaker in the 29th and 70th minutes, while Youssef Mchingama scored for Comoros in the 81st minute of the match.
The match witnessed the participation of Comoros defender Shaker Al-Hadour in the goalkeeper due to the positive tests for corona detection for two guards and a sports injury for the third.
In the quarter-finals, the Cameroonian team faces Gambia, who beat Guinea earlier by one goal.
