The quarterfinals of the African Championship continue tonight (Tuesday) with two games between Senegal and Cape Verde and between Morocco and Malawi.
In the first game Senegal secured their place in the quarterfinals after defeating their humble opponent 0: 2 without any special problems.
Cape Verde, who of course was a clear underdog even before she took to the field today, suffered two dismissals from Patrick Andrade (21) and Vazinia (57).
With nine players, the difficult task has already become impossible and within minutes the Senegalese took advantage of it.
Sadio Mana (63) scored the first for the Senegalese and Bamba Diang (92) added his own goal in extra time and secured the place in the last eight.
