Gosens before change?

According to media reports, Inter Milan is interested in signing German international Robin Gosens.

The Italian champions are negotiating a transfer with Gosens' current club Atalanta, according to the daily newspaper "Gazzetta dello Sport" and the "Kicker".

In Milan, the currently injured professional is to be brought in as reinforcement on the left flank.

A loan deal and a final transfer in the summer are under discussion.

The 27-year-old Gosens is currently working on a comeback after suffering a serious thigh injury at the end of September.

The Rhinelander hopes to be ready for action again in February.

Hodgson in retirement

According to media reports, Watford FC found a successor just one day after separating from coach Claudio Ranieri.

Accordingly, the former English national coach Roy Hodgson returns after half a year from retirement.

The 74-year-old is expected to save the Hornets, who have just 14 points from 20 games and sit penultimate in the Premier League table, from relegation.

Hodgson will become the third Watford coach this season after Ranieri and his predecessor Xisco Muñoz.

The veteran coach retired after four seasons at Crystal Palace last summer but has not ruled out the possibility of a comeback.

Hodgson had previously coached Liverpool FC, Fulham FC, Inter Milan and the national teams of Switzerland and Finland.

Hertha signs Kempf from VfB

Bundesliga club Hertha BSC is about to sign the second new winter signing.

After the Norwegian defender Fredrik André Björkan, Marc Oliver Kempf from league rivals VfB Stuttgart should also strengthen the Berlin defense.

Subject to the medical tests, the 26-year-old will sign a contract with immediate effect until 2026, the club announced on its website on Tuesday.

Kempf played a total of 110 Bundesliga games for Eintracht Frankfurt, SC Freiburg and Stuttgart, scoring nine goals.

In this season, the native of Hesse came into play in twelve league games and scored three goals - two goals alone in VfB's 5-1 win over newly promoted SpVgg Greuther Fürth at the start of the season.

VfL striker is trying his luck in Belgium

Bundesliga club VfL Bochum will part ways with attacker Silvère Ganvoula by the summer.

The 25-year-old will be loaned out to the Belgian first division club Cercle Brügge for the remainder of the season, the Bochum team announced.

The loan does not include a purchase option.

Ganvoula has played 94 competitive games for VfL so far, including nine games in the current Bundesliga season.

The Congolese has yet to score a goal this season.

Ganvoula has been playing for Bochum since the summer of 2018.
