There is something alienated, emotionless, in the announcement of retirement six days in advance, but the whole Maor Bouzaglo retirement process has been stretched for several years, close to, and perhaps subject to, his participation in "Bouzaglo."

And there's something sad about that, even more than that an excellent actor retires at 34, not because he's really injured, but because his main livelihood is as a reality star.

It's sad that real football players will play after retirement in the neighborhood as well, because they love the game, and when a huge football player like Buzaglo - more or less healthy - retires at that age, something in the heart is pinched.

Perhaps we have witnessed here an invention, and less a discovery.

In the last decade, there have been three football stars: Eran Zehavi, Maor Buzaglo and Eran Levy.

The difference between a football star and just an excellent player is what is wrapped around you.

You are revered as a tic tac star, as a cultural icon.

You collect followers on Instagram, you document and document as if it were a "Truman show," you conduct not only for yourself but for your fans.

In this matter Buzaglo was the closest thing to Eli Ohana in admiration, and he did not even remain single until the age of 28. As is customary and timed with the Buzaglo, a football player has to get married early to be concentrated in the game itself, the woman will be a help against him.

And Buzaglo walked in this world - next to Father Jacob - like real candy.

Buzaglo was good and talented enough to channel his career, and I feel he would have made it no less beautiful, but much less sour.

And it is possible that Buzaglo was also to blame for the fact that the financial struggle and the monetary return from life around the corner overwhelmed his desire to play again, if only for the sake of the game.

To the observer, Maor Bouzaglo's career was like a particularly tasty lollipop, which, after sucking it beyond recognition, turned into chewing gum.

His final chord, more or less, was his pair of goals for Atletico Madrid in the showcase match that took place at Teddy Stadium.

How symbolic that the Israeli Grizzo parted in that prestigious game from Israeli football in the way that characterized him: as a football star.
