"Stifti" Eckardt takes over at SV Pulling in the summer

The coaching question at SV Pulling has been clarified: Günter Dietz will also coach the A-Class in the second half of the season – and then comes Andreas Eckardt.

– Günter Dietz had already taken over as coach of the SV Pulling A-Class soccer team in the last first half of the season after Korbinian Ziegltrum had resigned for personal reasons.

Actually, his commitment should only last until the winter break, explains sports director Dominik Grimm.

"Fortunately, however, we were able to persuade him to continue until the end of the season."

The 55-year-old used to play football in Pulling himself and was coach of the second team twice.

"He is an old acquaintance with us and knows many of our players very well," says Grimm.

With Dietz, the eleventh in the A-Class 5 table has the right “fireman” in the fight to stay up in the league.

Grimm: "But Günter didn't want to extend it any longer."

Eckardt made two promotions with SV Vötting

Therefore, the SVP department management was looking for a solution from the summer of 2022 and was successful: With the 53-year-old Andreas "Stifti" Eckardt, an experienced coach takes over the post on the bench after this round.

Born in Pullinger, he himself played for SVP - and has also had success as a coach: he managed two promotions with SV Vötting, most recently he was on the bench at RW Klettham-Erding.

After that, he needed a little time off, says Grimm: "That's why he didn't want to join us right away, but only after this season." A good solution for the sport director: "Then the boys can do him better in preparation get to know each other.” Because unlike Günter Dietz, the Pullinger footballers are still largely unknown to him.

SV Pulling looking for reinforcements

"With the two experienced coaches, we see ourselves in a very good position," says Grimm happily, adding: "Of course we want to score as many points as possible in order to stay up in the league." Looking for new players, but there is nothing to report yet.
