If the Lakers have reason to be optimistic it's not just because of the away win tonight in Brooklyn, but mostly the big man's return: Anthony Davis is back on the field after missing 17 games because of Injury to his left knee, scoring 8 points in 25 minutes, and in a few moves mentioned that the Lakers can look completely different when on the field.
Davis, who scored in the dunk already during the first of LeBron's preparation, said at the end: "I feel ready."
In the final quarter, as LeBron James ran to the two consecutive rings after two steals, Davis jumped on him for a hug in the air, fearlessly on his injured leg.
"I must not think about it," said AD, "for five weeks I trained, I did a lot of weights, so I got into it, and it fell a little bit. I cared more about it than about me."
