National player Robin Gosens is apparently about to move to Inter Milan.
The top Italian club wants to dig deep into their pockets for him.
Bergamo/Milan - Pasta or Fish and Chips?
Robin Gosens* seems to have opted for Italian cuisine after all - who can blame him.
For a long time it looked as if the DFB star would move from Atalanta Bergamo to Newcastle United, but now, according to consistent reports, he is about to sign Inter Milan*.
As the Italian transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio and
Sky Sport
report, the 27-year-old has decided to transfer to the "Nerazzurri".
The usually well-informed journalist Fabrizio Romano also reports on an agreement between the two Serie A* clubs.

The transfer should work as follows: Inter offers Atalanta a loan with a purchase obligation of 22 million until the end of the current season.
If the change goes through, Gosens will become the most expensive German player that a Serie A club has ever afforded.
Mario Gomez previously held this title, the Swabian switched from FC Bayern* to AC Florenz in 2013 for 15.5 million euros.

Gosens has been out for months with a hamstring injury, and it's unclear when he'll be able to return.
Inter play a 3-5-2 system under coach Simone Inzaghi, the position on the left wing is tailored to Gosens.
At Atalanta he successfully filled them for years with clever defensive behavior at the back and dangerous goalscoring at the front.
At Inter he would compete with Ivan Perisic, but his whereabouts are in doubt.
Robin Gosens: From no-name to million player
Atalanta would like to keep the German, after all, he has been under contract there for four and a half years.
In any case, he was a good investment: the northern Italians once paid only one million euros for Gosens,

estimates its market value today at 35 million euros.
A transfer is also imminent for Niklas Süle.
His Bayern farewell is certain - where it goes is open *.
