Bayern league ice hockey club ESC Dorfen canceled the games at home against EHC Königsbrunn on Friday and in Pfaffenhofen on Sunday.
The reason: several corona cases.
"We don't have a team capable of playing at the moment," explains department head Manfred Detterbeck.
Less than nine players would be available.
Recently, seven players have tested positive.
Last Friday, all rapid tests would have been negative.
After some players suspected corona symptoms, PCR tests followed – and a lot of bad news.
The ESC, which tests its players before each training session and sends those who have recovered to the cardiologist, has also canceled all training sessions for the time being.
The derby against Erding is coming up next week.
Detterbeck: "We definitely want to try to play." At the moment, however, a forecast is not possible.
The game against Pfaffenhofen will be rescheduled on March 11th.
The appointment against Königsbrunn still requires the last coordination with the association.
