After 15 years of career, the 34-year-old footballer hung up his shoes and explained: "Football is like an organ in my body, which they have now managed to tear away from me. In the game I was not afraid of everyone. I passed the hardest tests a person can pass. "

Bitter with tears, Maor Bouzaglo convened a press conference today (Wednesday) announcing his retirement from football at the age of 34 after a vibrant 15-year career.

Buzaglo, started his career in the youth team of Maccabi Tel Aviv and already at the age of 14 was signed by the French Lyon, where he collaborated, among other things, with Karim Benzema.

The 34-year-old midfielder also played for the Israeli national team, recorded three championships to his credit (with Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Beer Sheva) and finished as the top scorer in the Premier League in three different seasons.

With tears in his eyes, Maor opened and said: "I did not expect to have such a press conference. The whole situation is very strange to me. When I was 13 my father took him to Lyon, he laid the future before me, and I am an eighth grader I felt every bone in my body I reached Dad was back in the country and I stayed there, a little boy holding on to a great future.

"From the moment I was born, football is everything I know and know, the smell of grass accompanies every picture in my life, football is like an organ in my body, which has now managed to tear away from me. I do not want to look for people and vote for a specific club. The decision tears my heart to pieces."

Buzaglo continued: "The smell of the grass accompanies me all my life, the ball was another limb, a part that was torn from me. All the scars on my legs tell of my great struggle, the desire to win. In the game I was not afraid of anything. "Big in front of the biggest players. I passed the toughest tests a person can pass, I was eulogized many times but I always came back hungry and more determined."
