Efforts to find a successor to Niklas Süle are apparently already in full swing at FC Bayern.
Hasan Salihamidzic has his sights set on a Chelsea star.
Munich – Secretly, the bosses of FC Bayern probably already expected that Niklas Süle would leave the club in the summer.
On Wednesday, Oliver Kahn confirmed at a press conference *: The defender will go.
And a replacement is needed.
When looking for a successor, sports director Hasan Salihamidzic seems to have a favorite: As reported by
Sport Bild
, the people of Munich are trying very hard for Andreas Christensen (25) from Chelsea.
The Dane would be free in the summer.
This also applies to two other names that are said to be very popular with "Brazzo": National player Antonio Rüdiger and Gladbach star Denis Zakaria.
FC Bayern is looking for a successor to Süle - Salihamidzic gets more power
While Rüdiger is said to be more inclined to stay, there have apparently already been talks with the management of Swiss Zakaria.
Players on a free transfer are particularly interesting for FC Bayern for a reason: sporting director Salihamidzic should be given more leeway in the case of transfers, but in the case of transfers free of charge he must provide a replacement that does not cost more than the salary savings of the departing player, provided there is no income from other transfers respectively.
This is how
Sport Bild
describes a new model that the club is said to have introduced.

FC Bayern: Upamecano model at Christensen?
In any case, objectively speaking, the chances are not bad for ex-Gladbacher Christensen.
The ex-Gladbacher does not belong to the absolute permanent staff of the Blues like Rüdiger, and there is currently no sign of a contract extension.
FC Bayern may do the same thing as a year ago with ex-Leipziger Dayot Upamecano, whose transfer was already bagged in February.
However, it is not yet clear where Süle is headed.
A possible club* is eliminated.
