Anso Patti is considered the biggest prospect of the luxury club from Catalonia, but unfortunately in the last year and a half he has been dealing mostly with injuries • After being absent throughout last season and undergoing four surgeries, he is now facing a rehabilitation period again • Is the wonder boy's career In a test?

Barcelona's next game will be just 6.2 against Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou.

Two weeks rest is a lot of time in the crazy schedule of the season, but unfortunately for Barça it will no longer help Lanso Patti either. Returned to the wounded list where he spends too much time.

In the cup game against Bilbao last week he came on in the 60th minute, just before the plans, but the game went into extra time and six minutes from the start Patti grabbed the back thigh muscle and was replaced.

This week the striker met with the club doctors who were adamant and recommended surgery that would lead to a four-month absence.

The family reportedly prefers conservative treatment that will only lead to a two-month absence, but everyone makes it clear that the final decision will be Patti's;

"I need to think about it," he replied, and one can understand how difficult the decision is for him.

Patty, unfortunately, has already experienced quite a few surgeries at a young age.

When he was injured in the meniscus of his left foot in the game against Betis in November 2020, he went through four of them that took a very heavy toll.

Patti has been out of action for nearly a year, missing 47 games with Barcelona and missing Euro 2020 with Spain.

He made the comeback in September 2021 with an exciting goal in a game against Levante, but during all this time he has been carefully examined by senior doctors in the field.

First those of the club, then with a senior doctor in Lyon and on the advice of his agent Georges Jesus also with a Portuguese national team doctor.

A major part of the rehabilitation he did in general in Madrid with Joaquin Juan, the physiotherapist of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The knee may have recovered, but in November pain appeared in the back thigh muscle.

Patty was out for two months and made the comeback against Real Madrid in the Super Cup semi-final.

He scored in that game, mentioning what a tremendous talent he is, but a week later against Bilbao he mentioned what an injury he is.

This combination makes rehabilitation a very important task.

Patty is the future of the club, and evidenced by the signing of a contract until 2027 and the number 10 he received after the departure of Leo Messi.

Barcelona would very much like him to be operated on as Sergei Roberto and Osman Dembele did in their time, but the player's relatives fear complications that could harm the young star's future.

"Unfortunately I have to experience the hard moments of football" Patty wrote on social media after the recent injury;

"But I will never give up."
