Australian Championship: Ashley Barty qualifies for the final Israel today

The Australian Tennis Championships is entering its decisive stages, when today (Thursday) we will know who are the finalists in the women's final.

The first to secure her place in the battle for the title is Australian

. 

Barty, who is ranked first in the world, has not yet lost a match in the tournament and looks great on the field, continued this ability in the semifinals against the American Madison Keys (51), who for her part was frustrated and did not find solutions.

In the end after impressive figures of over 90 percent success in points in the first serve and the addition of 13 winners, the Australian sealed the game with a light 1: 6, 3: 6 in 62 minutes.

Now, Barty has become the first Australian in a final in 42 years and is just one win away from bringing much delight to the local crowd and swinging her first trophy on the hard surfaces of Melbourne and her third overall in her career, following last year’s Wimbledon win and Roland Garros in 2019. 

Whoever tries to ruin the celebration for her, is the winner in the second semi-final that will bring together Iga Schwintech, the 9th ranked Poland in the world, and the American Daniel Collins (27).
