Great sadness in the NFL after Ben Rothlisberger announced his retirement after a tremendous 18-year career.
Rothlisberger played throughout his career for the Pittsburgh Steelers team that selected him in the first round of the 2004 draft.
During his career he was selected six times for the Pro Ball Game (2007, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017) and won the Super Bowl twice.
His first win made him the youngest quarterback to lift the championship, which also earned him the Rookie of the Year award on offense in his first year in the seniors.
